Porcini Protein Shake Recipe

Creamy, energising and packed with earthy umami flavour, this unique protein shake combines banana, peanut butter and Zest & Zing Porcini Powder for a rich breakfast boost.

Umami Breakfast Protein Shake

Servings : 1 

Ingredients

  • 250ml almond milk (or whole milk)

  • 1 scoop vanilla whey or plant protein

  • ½ tsp Zest & Zing Porcini Powder

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Optional: 1 tsp cocoa powder for a chocolate-mushroom twist

Preparation

  1. Pour the almond milk into a blender.

  2. Add vanilla protein powder and Zest & Zing Porcini Powder.

  3. Add frozen banana, peanut butter, sea salt and cinnamon.

  4. Add cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavour if desired.

  5. Blend for 45 seconds until smooth and creamy.

  6. Serve chilled and enjoy immediately for the best flavour and texture.
